Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms cover your use of the Carsiq website, Carsiq Match, account features, vehicle details, and comparison tools. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

What Carsiq provides

Carsiq uses the preferences you enter and the vehicle information available in its catalogue to produce recommendations, comparisons, scores, explanations and ownership estimates. The results are decision-support information. They are not a vehicle sale, reservation, finance approval, insurance recommendation, or binding quote from a manufacturer, dealer, lender, or insurer.

Vehicle data and prices

Vehicle specifications and prices are drawn from identified sources and may be incomplete, estimated, or out of date. Where shown, a city-specific on-road amount is an estimate for its stated city, source, and date. It may change with registration, insurance selection, taxes, fees, offers, availability, and dealer terms. Ex-showroom prices are separate from city on-road estimates. Check current specifications and the final payable amount with the manufacturer or an authorized dealer before making a purchase decision.

Recommendations and user input

Recommendations depend on the profile and constraints you provide and on the data available for the selected city and variants. A result is not a guarantee that a vehicle is available, suitable in every circumstance, or the lowest-priced option. You are responsible for checking that your profile is accurate and for independently verifying important facts.

Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate account and profile details, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Do not attempt to access areas that are not intended for you, disrupt the service, manipulate results, or submit information you do not have the right to provide.

Third-party sources and services

Carsiq may identify or link to manufacturers, pricing publishers, and other external providers. Their content, products, privacy practices, availability, and terms are outside Carsiq's control. A link does not make an external source part of Carsiq or guarantee its information.

Availability and changes

Features and catalogue records may change as Carsiq's data sources and product change. The service is intended to support decisions; it may contain errors or gaps and may be temporarily unavailable during updates.
